When I was starting this journey I was really nervous. I know I am judgmental at times and Lord knows I am working on this. I felt that by me sharing pieces of my story to the world it opens me up to be judged and allows others to have a different perception of who I am or who I am trying to portray. God gives you a voice and a vision. When you are disobedient to his word or what he is calling you to do, he can take all of that from you.
I seen my mother go from being a high school standout in sports and this beautiful woman who always had the biggest smile on her face and just so much life to being a woman who can barely speak, eat or drink on her own, and just become completely dependent on others. She always wanted to be a motivational speaker once she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She had the opportunity to do so but sometimes we get caught up with the wrong people or crowd and we block our own blessings. I know that she didn’t want people to know how severe her MS had become but SO WHAT?? When we are the most vulnerable seems like the time that God wants us to tell our story. When we finally get through that storm, we can show someone else how we did it but you can’t do that by being secretive.
The person beside you is no better than you but he may have done more with what God has given him than you have. You see his fruition but you can have it too. Sometimes we put ourselves in situations that we don’t have to be in and God will cause you to grab stuff that you are scared of.
YOU CAN DO MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU CAN DO!!! YOU CAN HAVE MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU CAN HAVE!!!
We all have to build our confidence in private before you can do anything in public. You can’t overcome what you can’t confront! I want to know, what is in your hand? What did God give you? Pick it up scared, nervous, worried, intimidated, not sure of yourself… God will turn it into something. You don’t know what you got until you pick it up. It will change when you touch it because you are touching it with faith. God will use you through your weakness but he can’t use you through your unbelief.
Exodus 4:1-6 may help define your destiny. Use your talent or take the risk of losing it. The choice is yours..
